Meatloaf is a favourite in our house. It is also a very simple and cheap recipe to make! Add a salad or some mashed potatoes and a veggie!

Kids usually love meatloaf. You can also make this recipe in cupcake pans for small individual pieces.  This is my recipe that I use all the time. It was taught to me by my aunt, when I had needed a recipe for my now husband(of 10 years) when we were dating. His favourite meal is meat loaf.

What you will need:

1 1/2 lbs of ground beef or ground turkey

1 large egg

1 cup of regular potato chips or lightly salted (potato chips hold the meat together.)

2 tablespoons of onion soup mix ( I can no longer use this due to my diet so I use onion powder and Mrs. Dash mixed.)

2 teaspoons low sodium worcestershire sauce

1 cup of shredded  cheese for topping or 1/3 cup of ketchup & 2 tablespoons mustard
