Nerd Block Jr. Review

My son. Spencer loves sci-fi stuff. He loves Star Wars, Doctor Who, you name it my son loves it!

So when I was asked to review Nerd Block Jr., I jumped to the chance.

I knew Spencer would be excited.

We received the Nerd Block Jr. subscription box. I never told Spencer that he would be receiving a Nerd Block Jr. box because I wanted his honest opinion on it.

He wasn’t happy that he had to wait to open it while I took a picture.

I have to say normally Spencer will just want the toys out of the packages.

But with Nerd Block Jr. , he read every little piece of writing,

I have never seen him take so long opening the toys.

It was like he was savoring each package.

In Spencer’s Nerd Block Jr. subscription box he received:

  • 1 Kirby Keychain
  • 1 Transformer figurine
  • 1 package containing 3 Hobbit figurines
  • 2 Shirtpunch Variants
  • 1 Imps and Monsters Colouring Book (Exclusive to Nerd Block)

Spencer has set up his Kirby keychain, Transformer and Hobbits on my desk by the computer so that he has them nearby when he plays on it.

He took his blue and white Shirtpunch Variant to school daily for the last week.

Knowing my son, that proves he loved his Nerd Block Jr. subscription box!

I enjoyed seeing a smile on his face by getting a parcel in his name and various toys for his enjoyment.

I really like that Nerd Block Jr. is different each month so he receives a little of everything and it doesn’t hurt my wallet since it is such a reasonable price. It is a win-win for both of us.

I can’t wait to see what comes next month for Spencer.

I have seen these subscription boxes before. They look pretty neat and I do like the fact that the children receive kewl items each month. It's a bonus that you can cancel at any time, without a cancellation fee I am assuming as kids can be fickle creatures as the thing that's in one day is out the next. I think these boxes would be great for younger children especially. Like christmas each month they can get their OWN package in the mail. That would make any kid feel special and a parent happy that it's not a bill. LOL
