Candy Race Car – Great for Kids Parties

It is hard coming up with something for a classroom treat for holidays or for a child’s party. My son, Spencer loves taking something for his friends at school.

This treat isn’t healthy but it is easy to make and your kids will love it!

Candy Race Car- Great for Kids Parties

First you will need a glue gun, glue sticks (both I purchased at the dollar store.), mini Hershey chocolate bars, Tootsie rolls, chocolate coins and juice boxes.

You can also change it up. If you want instead of Tootsie Rolls, try a chocolate that is small like one to use for the front fender. You can choose a different small chocolate bar too. The sky is the limit on how you design yours.  Choose a juice box that is your child’s favourite.

I found mints in a wrapper didn’t give the same effect as a chocolate coin did for the wheel look. And the Hershey chocolate bar did look like it was a wing with the side flaps of the package.

Candy Race Car- Great for Kids Parties

Figure out how many cars that you wish to make and decide on the amount of items you need.  For one car you need one Hershey chocolate bar, one Tootsie roll , four chocolate coins and one juice box.

Just put a dab of glue on each coin and apply it to the juice box sides. Then put glue on the Tootsie roll and place it where the front of the car is located. Lastly put glue on the bottom of the Hershey chocolate bar and place it on the top back area of the race car.

It is that simple. And your kids will love the race cars for themselves and their friends!

Let me know if you make this for your child’s class or birthday parties in the comments below. I love hearing about how the kids enjoyed them.

It takes 15 chemicals to make up coffee creamer.

17 Uses For Coca-Cola

 Cleaning with Coca-Cola #DIY #Cleaners

The great thing about a product like Coca-Cola is that many of us either have it in our homes or can purchase it for great price. Coca-Cola has so many uses beyond drinking that it is great to have handy in your home.

Here is a list below on many uses for your home.

  1. Removes rust and loosens rusty bolts.
  2. Cleans oil stains from garage floors. Just pour cola on and then rinse.
  3. Kills slugs and snails. The acid kills them.
  4. Cleans burnt pans. Let pan soak in cola and then rinse them.
  5. Descales a kettle. Same method as burnt pans.
  6. Removes blood stains from fabric and clothing.
  7. Clean car battery terminals by pouring a small amount of cola over each one.
  8. Makes pennies shine. Soaking old pennies in cola will remove tarnish.
  9. Cleans tile grout. Pour on kitchen floor and then mop it up.
  10. Removes gum from hair.  Dip hair in a bowl of cola and leave for a few minutes.
  11. Removes stains from china.
  12. Remove or fade dye from hair by pouring diet Cola over it.
  13. Remove marker stains from the carpet.  Pour cola over it and scrub. And then clean with soapy water.
  14. Cleans your toilets. Pour around bowl. Leave and then flush.
  15. Cola and Aluminum foil will bring chrome to a shine.
  16. Strips paint off of metal furniture. Soak a towel in cola and leave it on paint surface.
  17. Make better compost; Coke increases the acidity, adds sugars and feeds microorganisms.

What other ways can you clean with Cola?

During a rainy day , sometimes it is hard to keep the children busy and entertained.

It was a great chance to pull out another one of my Kiss Naturals review packages to do!

We decided to try Kiss Naturals Bath Fizzie kit.

The great thing about this package is that you can either follow on the box or go to the Kiss Naturals site and watch the DIY videos.
