Warmer weather usually means more potlucks and BBQ dinners. I love having potluck dinners because it allows us to try a new dish we may have not had before. It also means less time having to cook a big meal for everyone. Sometimes it is easy to get stuck in a rut making the same meals for every dinner. Here is a great list of 10 BBQ/Potluck recipes for you to enjoy.
Christmas morning is coming up fast. And with preparing for the dinner that day, I like to also plan for breakfast that morning. I try to make a recipe that either we have had before or I search online for a new one that the family might like. Usually we have Mike’s mom, brother and our niece for breakfast. But this year is only his mother and us. So I am looking for something new and simple for us to make. I am going to prepare it the night before and then just pop it in while we unwrap gifts.

I just recently purchased Quaker® Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies Cranberry & Yogurt and I am really enjoying them.
Since I had my kidney transplant, I have been on prescription medicine that increases my appetite. So because of this I have been having a craving for sweets. I don’t want to overdue the sweets because I am trying to not over eat every time I get a craving.
Quaker® Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies are great to give you that sweet taste without over eating because each package is 150 calories per serving.
They are made with Whole Grain Quaker® Oats and not only taste great but they are a source of fiber.
I wish I had found these oatmeal cookies sooner. My favourite right now are the Quaker® Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies Cranberry & Yogurt. I love the taste of the yogurt and cranberry flavour combined. I purchase at least one box every time I am out buying some groceries. I enjoy the Quaker® Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies with my morning coffee. I love that it gives me a treat without feeling the guilt of eating more than I should. I hate when I buy soft baked cookies and they are hard as a rock. With Quaker® Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies, I have never had that happen!
Quaker® Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies come in 3 flavours
Banana & Chocolate Chunk,Blueberry & Almond and Cranberry & Yogurt.
I can’t wait until I try them all.
