Back to school is coming and many of us have several after school activities for our children planned.

Soccer, Football, Gymnastics and more!

Sometimes you don’t have time to grab a snack that is healthy for our kids before their game.

That’s why I love that Nature’s Path has Qi’a Superfoods available from bars, cereal and oatmeal. To give our children the best foods for before and after school.

We were lucky to try out the Qi’a bars for a review.

We tried:

  • Blueberry Cashew Pumpkin Seed
  • Roasted Peanut Dark Chocolate
  • Mocha Cocoa Hazelnut
  • Dark Chocolate Cranberry Almond

We also received a book Un-Junk Your Diet by Desiree Nielsen,BSc, RD. This book will help you clean up the way you eat plus give you some easy recipes to help you and your family eat cleaner.

Since I had my kidney transplant in August, I am making sure we are eating better.  Nature’s Path Qi’a Superfoods is great for our house for that reason.

Mike, Hayley and myself tried all the bars. We each have our own favourites.

My favourite and Hayley’s favourite is Roasted Peanut Dark Chocolate. I can’t get enough of this snack bar. I love it. The perfect combination of dark chocolate and roasted peanuts. I plan on stocking up on these bars!

Mike’s favourite was Mocha Cocoa Hazelnut. It tasted almost exotic. A great choice if you enjoy coconut type chocolate bars and a healthier alternative.

The Blueberry Cashew Pumpkin Seed bar tastes almost like a breakfast Super Bar.
Great to eat on the way to work or school. I enjoy it with acup of decaf coffee in the morning.

The Dark Chocolate Cranberry Almond bar is a perfect anytime snack bar. Yourchildren will not know they are eating cranberries. The chocolate is more the focus on the bar so they will think they are eating a chocolate bar but actually eating a very healthy chocolate bar!
